| The above effect which I call for lack of a better term Pen and Ink Effect looks great on a greeting card or note card. Creating this
effect is a quick and easy 4 step process. You will need the Free Gravure Filter available from the PhotoFiltre Web Site.
One Final Note: This is one of those effects that you should play around with different settings, especially the Colored Layer
Settings. Try different opacity settings and try a few different colors for some surprising results. Start with white to black and
all the gray combinations in between and then set out trying actual colors like yellow or blue.
1) Open your image and resize it to the dimensions you want.
2) Menu = Filter / Plug-in / Gravure. Once open select the "Contours+" tab.
Diaphragme +1 = Checked
3) Menu = Filter / Noise / Add Noise
Amount = 50
Uniform = Not Checked |

| 4) Menu = Filter / Color / Grayscale 5) Menu = Filter / Color / Colored Layer
Color = Black
Opacity = 80%
Invert = Checked
Try Different shades of White, Gray or Black along with different opacity settings until you find the result you like best. My Result
