My latest tutorial was a request and a very fun tutorial to do for me.  I always loved the effect of black and white infrared photography, and for that matter black and white photography so when I was asked to try and recreate the infrared effect I jumped right on it.  You can see that tutorial here.

PhotoFiltre Liquid Text Example
  The above Text Effect is real simple to make once you learn a couple quick techniques with this tutorial.  Not sure what effect it is I called it Liquid Text.  To do this Tutorial you'll need the Gravure and RVB Fantaisies Filter available for free on the PhotoFiltre Web Site.  
PhotoFiltre Selection
  1)   Select the Text Tool.  My Settings are:

      Font = Balloonist
      Size = 100
      Bold = Checked
      Antialias = Checked

     Now Click on the "Transform to Selection Button" and your image should look like mine above. 

Note:  Do Not move your Text Selection in the above step.

  2)   Menu = Edit / Stroke and Fill

      Stroke = Checked
      Color = White
      Width = 2
      Antialias = Checked

      Fill = Checked
      Color = Black
      Style = Solid

3)   With the Text Selection still active use the Keyboard Arrow Keys and move the selection down 7 pixels and to the right 7 pixels.

4)   Menu = Edit / Stroke and Fill

      Stroke = Unchecked

      Fill = Checked
      Color = White
      Style = Solid

  5)   Menu = Selection / Hide Selection

6)   Select the Magic Wand Tool, Make sure Color is Checked and Tolerance is around 30 and then click in the black part of your text to select it.

7)   Menu = Selection / Copy Shape

  8)   Select the Text Tool again.  Your original Text you typed should still be there with all the original settings.  Click on the "Transform to Selection" button again.

9)   Menu = Edit / Stroke and Fill

      Stroke = Unchecked

      Fill = Checked
      Color = White
      Style = Solid

10) Menu = Filter / Stylize / Progressive Contour

      Width = 3
      Color = Black
      Opacity = 50%
      Effect = Blur

  11)  Menu = Selection / Paste Shape.  Now using your arrow keys position the selection over your text like mine above.

12)   Menu = Filter / Color / Colored Layer

        Color = White
        Opacity = 100%
