Updates:

My latest tutorial was a request and a very fun tutorial to do for me.  I always loved the effect of black and white infrared photography, and for that matter black and white photography so when I was asked to try and recreate the infrared effect I jumped right on it.  You can see that tutorial here.

To the right is a nice looking Metallic Text effect that is real easy to create with PhotoFiltre.  In order to complete this tutorial you'll also need the RVB Fantaisies Plug-in.  You can Download it from the PhotoFiltre web site if you don't already have it installed.

Metalic Text Example

     Font = Abbess
     Size = 50
     Bold = Checked
     Antialias = Checked

Now Click on the "Transform to Selection Button" and your image should look like mine to the right.

If you like the look to the right by all means save it.  If you want a different color now the Fun Begins.  We'll be using the RGB Fantasy Tool.  It's in French so you find it as:

Menu = Filter / Plug-in / RVB Fantasies.  I'll show some examples with the the color codes I used to get you started.  Make sure your text is still selected (you'll know by the dashed line around your text) before you use this Plug-in.

All settings below are with the RVB+ Tab Selected.

Example
Rouge = -71
Vert = 16
Bleu = 69

Example
Rouge = 0
Vert = 0
Bleu = -51

Example
Rouge = 120
Vert = -20
Bleu = 0

Example
Rouge = -7
Vert = 68
Bleu = -91

Now have some Fun and try your own color combinations.
