My latest tutorial was a request and a very fun tutorial to do for me.  I always loved the effect of black and white infrared photography, and for that matter black and white photography so when I was asked to try and recreate the infrared effect I jumped right on it.  You can see that tutorial here.

Here's a real nice clean looking button for your web site quite often referred to as Micro Buttons.  With PhotoFiltre creating these buttons is a simple 3 step process.  My images below are double the size of the buttons on the right so you can see better what is going on otherwise this process was used to produce these buttons. 1)  Open up a new image with a white background.

2)  Select the Rectangle Tool a draw a 90 x 20 pixel selection.

3)  Menu = Filter / Color / Gradient

     Style = Duotone
     Direction = Top to Bottom

     Color 1 = RGB 255,255,255
     Opacity = 50%

     Color 2 = RGB 150,150,150
     Opacity = 50%

4)  Menu = Filter / Frame / Simple Frame

     Width = 1
     Color = RGB 128,128,128
     Opacity = 70%

Now just copy and paste a few more buttons and then add text to them.
