| I am going to stop babying you with this tutorial. You should know all the different tools I use in this tutorial by
now. If not start studying up.
This Sphere is real easy. You will be creating them in a minute or 2 once you get the hang of it. You can do a lot of
customizing like increase or decrease the shadow or shine of the sphere. |

| 1) Menu = File / New Width = 300
Height = 300
Color = RGB 128,128,128
2) Select the Elipse Tool and Draw a 210 x 210 pixel circle
3) Menu = Selection / Copy Shape
4) Menu = Edit / Copy
5) Menu = Edit / Paste
6) Select Layer 1 (Your Circle) and color it Black |

| 7) Select the Background Layer in the Layers Palette and then select the Elipse Tool and draw a new circle 250 x 250
pixels. 8) Menu = Edit / Copy
9) Click on Layer 1 in the Layers Palette
10) Menu = Edit / Paste
11) Menu = Filter / Color / Color Layer
Now choose a color for your sphere. |

| 12) Select Layer 2 in the Layers Palette 13) Menu = Layer / Transparent gradient / Radial
14) Click on the Layer Manager Tool and then move Layer 2 until you get a sphere you like. You may want less or more shadow than I
have here or you may want the light to come from a different direction.
15) Right Click Layer 2 and select Merge with previous layer. |

| 16) Select Layer 1 and then select the Elipse Tool and draw a 100 x 100 Pixel Circle over the center of your sphere. 17)
Menu = Edit / Copy
18) Menu = Edit Paste
19) Menu = Filter / Color / Colored Layer
Color = White
20) Select the Layer Manager Tool and move Layer 3 (Your new white circle) over the the area where your light will be.

| 21) With Layer 3 still selected Menu = Layer / Transparent gradient / Radial
22) Double Click on Layer 3 in the Layers Palette and set the opacity to 60%
23) Right Click on Layer 3 and select Duplicate
24) Select Layer 4
Menu = Layer / Transform / Transform Free
Scale = 60
25) Now select the Layer Management Tool and move Layer 4 to the center of Layer 3
26) Right Click Layer 3 and choose Merge with Previous Layer
27) Right Click Layer 4 and choose Merge with Previous Layer |

| 28) Select Layer 1 in the Layers Palette Menu = Selection / Paste Shape (This
is the Circle Shape we saved in step 3 in order to save us from drawing it again)
29) Menu = Filter / Visual Effect / Gaussian blur
Radius = 3
30) Select the Elipse Tool and draw a 200 x 200 pixel circle
31) With Layer 1 selected hit the Invert Selection Button and then
Menu = Edit / Clear
32) Hit the Invert Selection Button again, select the Background layer in the Layers palette.
33) Move the selection about 20 pixels down and to the right and color it black.
33) Hit the Hide Selection button
34) Menu = Filter / Visual effects / Gaussian blur
